Dr. Heidi Bruty is a medical doctor, trained and board certified in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. After completing her residency and fellowship at the University of South Florida in 2006, she remained on faculty at the University of South Florida for 2 years until her move to Dallas, Texas in 2009. Dr. Bruty continued her academic career as an Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical Center until 2014. As an academic clinician, Dr. Bruty was actively involved in the medical education of medical students, training of residents in psychiatry as well as research initiatives in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Bruty was the Medical Director of the Inpatient Psychiatry Services at Children’s Medical Center, Dallas campus from November 2011-2013 and involved in the clinical care of patients at the Center for Pediatric Eating Disorders at Children’s Medical Center, Legacy campus as well. Dr. Bruty opened her private practice in October 2013. She is excited to offer the community her expertise and knowledge from her vast clinical experience and is committed to providing the highest quality of psychiatric care with focus on personal attention and privacy. Dr. Bruty is well regarded for her diagnoses and treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders and ADHD in children and adults.
